1/2 lb bacon (8 slices)
9-inch pie crust, unbaked
1-1⁄2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
3⁄4 tsp salt
1⁄4 tsp pepper
dash cayenne
dash nutmeg
4 eggs
3/4 cup cream
3/4 cup milk
Oven 375. Cut bacon into pieces and fry until crisp. Drain and crumble into pie crust. Sprinkle cheese over the bacon. Mix seasonings and sprinkle over cheese.
Beat eggs, cream, and milk together. Pour over cheese and bacon. Bake 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serves 6 to 8.
